The Rising is a contemporary dance project choreographed by The Heather Walrond Company. Inspired by Figian Dance, The Rising aims to uplift audiences, and celebrate feelings of community and togetherness whilst showcasing virtuosic dance and musicality. Supported by the Arts Council, National Lottery and various local theatre trusts, The Rising has performed throughout the UK and abroad to tremendous critical and audience response. Further UK and international development and touring is planned for 2018, so watch this space!
